New telemetry system for the acustic voltage control of a Lipo battery. The transmitter including antenna is mounted on the helicopter and connected with the flight battery either on the controller plugs or, using a minicopter-selfmade-Lipo-battery, thru the balancing plug The power for the transmitter is also supplied from the flight battery. 434-MHz-UHF-signal telemetry.
Four different signal rhytms for certain voltage areas:
1. short signal tone each 2,5sec above 3,40V/cell
2. longer signal tone each 0,5sec between 3,40V and 3,20V/cell
3. short signal tone each 0,2sec between 3,20V and 3,00V/cell
4. continuous tone below 3,00V/cell
Thru the exact knowledge of the voltage the battery can be discharged with much more security and without the risk to damage the battery from undervoltage. Latest with apperance of signal 3 the helicopter should be landed. The telemetry system is especially interesting for pilots with a gently flight style and long flight times or photo helicopters, because with a smooth flight style you can reach much easier an undervoltage without recognizing it.
Adjustable loudness of the earphone with a potentiometer.
Weight of transmitter including cables and antenna: 65g (2oz)
Receiver battery included. For 10s- or 12s-Lipo-batteries.
Ord.-no. 1952 Explorer-voltage telemetry system for 12s-Lipo-batteries
